Privacy policy
Hôtel Azur (working title) is a mobile game in development by an independent individual developer (“we”). It is a personal project and is not operated by LUMA GROUPE SARLU, although this page is hosted under the lumaget.com domain. This page explains what we collect on this website and why. The game itself is not yet available.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you enter it in the sign-up form.
- Anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type) collected with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own server. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
- Basic visit and ad-measurement data (for example which ad you came from, device type, and whether you signed up), collected through the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel when they are enabled on this site (only if we run paid ads).
Why we use it
- To send you one email when the game launches, and occasionally major news about the launch. We will never sell your email address.
- To measure which of our ads people find interesting, so we can decide whether and how to finish the game.
Who processes it
Email addresses are stored on our own server, hosted by Alibaba Cloud in Paris, France (EU). When the game launches we may use an email-sending service to deliver the launch email; it will only receive your email address for that purpose. Ad-measurement data (only if we run paid ads) is processed by Meta Platforms and TikTok under their own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe, or for at most 12 months after the game launches. If the project is cancelled, we delete the list.
Your choices and rights
- Every email we send will contain an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time to be removed.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you.
- California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money; you may still ask us to delete your data.
- You can limit ad tracking in your browser or device settings and in your Meta and TikTok ad preferences.
Children
This website and sign-up are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
